effing A.  my favorite monthly at Boondocks is back tonight. not to be missed.

On the heels of last week’s Vinyl Ranch party at Leon’s Lounge, DJ Dave Wrangler, along with Phillip Marshall, aka Young Squaddy, and Piss Heavy (the local favorite), continue to kick-off weekends with a vengeance. Seriously, the best set at Boondocks all month.

Wrangler was recently touted by sexwithheadphoneson, and earlier this summer was featured by Rolling Stone for his 2008 Party Mix set.

see you there, peeps.

Don't Fight It - October 10th - Boondocks

The newest volume of Dave’s mix-tape series, Life of the Party 2008 was reviewed by Rolling Stone the minute it dropped on Memorial Day Weekend. Dave Wrangler popped onto the radar in January of 2008 with his banging reworks of classic party tracks, hip-hop mash-ups and indie-rock remixes. He has done remixes of new and classic acts such Band of Horses, TV on the Radio, The Virgins, M.I.A., 2PAC, Dee-Lite, Pharcyde, Eric B. & Rakim, The Raveonettes, Rob Base and countless others that have been rocked by the globe’s biggest jocks! In addition, he has been featured on many international radio shows in places such as the UK, Germany, Argentina, Tokyo and Portugal.  Dave is beginning remix work for one of Europe’s biggest indie labels, Barcelona’s BCore Disc and is looking to knock’em dead at SXSW 2009!”
