Culture Collision III
Culture is certainly colliding these days in Houston. Like nothing I’ve ever seen, in all my, ahem, 30 years.
Over the last year, I’ve witnessed an enormous boom of art, music, technology and community. From organizations such as Caroline Collective, Fresh Arts, Spacetaker, and Houston Young Professionals for the Arts,
I’ve gotten to know the people behind these organizations, champions for the arts such as Mandy Graessle, Jerome Veilman, David Brown, Heather Pray, Ned Dodington, and Matthew Wettergreen; and I can honestly say that judging from the passion and dedication that these people possess, the love they have for this city, and the lengths they go to to spread it, the State of the Houston Art Union is strong and thriving.
I’m so incredibly proud, every day, to call this city HOME.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon, please join many of these organizations, and many more, to celebrate this coming together of community in the arts.
See you there, peeps!

Join us for a one-of-a-kind happy hour event. Arts groups and Houston urbanites come together to enjoy performing and visual arts of all sorts.
